Stephen Kingi massiivne postapokalüptiline oopus "The Stand" ("Vastuseis") tehakse linateoseks CBS Filmsi poolt, kes Warner Bros.'iga mesti lõi ja romaani õigused hankis.

Miniseriaal on üsna ähmaselt meeles aga nagu mäletaks, et meeldis, kui kunagi vaadatud sai. Romaani pole lugenud, nii et üldiselt filmi osas mingeid erilisi eelarvamusi pole, eks vaatab, kui valmis tehakse.

Sarja mäletan isegi päris selgelt. Mäletan, et olin suht vaimustuses, aga miskipärast jäi pooleli. Raamatut lugenud ei ole, aga ehk jõuan enne filmi valmimist seda teha.

Ütleksin, et filmiversiooni vaataks hea meelega, sest sari jättis raamatust küllaltki hea mulje.

Having teamed up to record-breaking effect on the last three Harry Potter films, the pair are now set to tackle another weighty tome in the form of Stephen King’s The Stand.

Warner Bros are keen to see the horror maestro’s apocalyptic epic turned into a multi-film franchise, and are currently in talks with Yates and Kloves to take over as director and screenwriter respectively.
